Terms and Conditions

 

1. Pricing
All prices are plus VAT unless otherwise stated, which will be charged at the current rate. Children's garments are not charged VAT.

2. General Warranty
Although K. C. Merchandising uses quality materials, due to the wide variation in laundering conditions and detergents, K. C. Merchandising does not guarantee against fading or shrinkage of garments during laundering.

3. Substitutions
K. C. Merchandising reserves the right to substitute materials of equal or better quality without notification.

4. Dye Lot
Due to the practise of batch processing knitted goods when they are dyed. K. C. Merchandising cannot guarantee consistency of colour on garments from dye lot to dye lot, or from one order to the next.

5. Changes
K. C. Merchandising reserves the right to change, modify, add or remove any of the goods on this site.

6. Returns
Given the nature of our business we can only accept garments that are faulty, ie holes, one sleeve vastly shorter than the other. We quality control all goods before they  are dispatched and any goods that have been incorrectly cared for, will be inspected by us. We always know when a garment has been incorrectly washed or damaged by no fault of our own. In these circumstances the customer  will be liable for the carriage cost and a inspection cost, this would be determined on the time taken to check the garments and will be notified to the customer. All faulty goods should be notified to us in writing either by fax or email, within 2 days of the goods being delivered and must be returned to K. C. Merchandising within 7 days and return the goods to the company address and the goods will be replaced. If any of the above time constraints are not met we reserve the right to dismiss all claims made by the customer. Returned shirts must be unworn, and well packaged. K. C. Merchandising send a proof of the print design before commencing with the order, checking for errors is entirely the responsibility of the purchaser. No refunds available for printing errors.
We cannot give refunds or exchange goods that are ordered incorrectly. Please check your order.

7. Packaging
All goods will be wrapped in plain wrapping and well protected, we reserve the right to decide the most cost effective method.

8. Shipping and postal prices
To UK mainland only, delivery costs are available based on quantity ordered. At present we do not offer an overseas delivery service.

9. Complaints
We take seriously any complaints made by our customer and it is K. C. Merchandising's policy to deal with such complaints within 5 working days.

10. Privacy and data protection.
We use your personal details in order to prepare and deliver your goods, as well as providing customer service. We do not pass these details to third parties, and they are kept confidential at all times. Furthermore, no credit card details are held, once a transaction is complete they are removed from our system.

11. Order cancellation
In the case of an order cancellation, if K. C. Merchandising has already commenced work on the order, we shall be entitled to full reimbursement for any costs already incurred, including penalties or restocking charges that our suppliers may charge us. This reimbursement shall be taken from the advance and the balance refunded to the Customer.

12. Condition of customer supplied artwork.
Estimates for printing are based on customer supplying same size or larger, colour or black & white artwork or in electronic format that is 'camera ready' and requiring no touch - up or clean up. Additional time needed to make artwork camera ready shall be billed at current rates.

13. Colour proofing.
Because of difference in equipment, garments, inks and other conditions between colour proofing and production pressroom operations, a reasonable variation in colour between colour proofs and the completed job shall constitute acceptable delivery.

14. Production schedules.
Production schedules will be established and adhered to by customer and K. C. Merchandising, provided that neither shall incur any liability or penalty or delays due to state of war, riot, civil disorder, fire strikes, accidents, action of Government or civil authority and acts of God or other causes beyond the control of customer or K. C. Merchandising.

15. K. C. Merchandising refuses to print racist, hateful and copyrighted designs. We also reserve the right refuse a job without giving a reason.

16. Although we will endeavour to process your job at the earliest available convenience, K. C. Merchandising cannot be held liable financially for any job undertaken nor can we be liable for any third party cost in relation to this. The customer should take all  precautions when placing a order to ensure there is adequate time for the job to be completed. For any job undertaken by us and is late due to circumstances beyond our control (see sec. 14) we will be only liable for replacement of the garments or a credit note issued by us for any future orders.
